It is really hard to someone nervous do this before. So the class solved my problem. When the project handed over to me, I felt really confused and nervous. I don’t know what should I do about this. Luckily we have this class, or I will still in confidence about the project.

Actually I’m not very interested this class. But it’s quite useful. The class teaching me how to research to my project. The part of the project is a new things for me. I didn’t do that before. So before I have this class. I don’t know how to research for information which is can be use in the project which are not. Although the class is a little bit boring. It still important for me.

And because of this class, I find a sentence which is my favorite. ‘Good drawing is not copying the surface’–Williams(2001)

Yesterday in the academic English class. We have a practice about communication in English. We need to drawing a simple picture and explain it to other partner and let he/she to draw it out.

I felt nervous because I am not very good at to description something with English. It is hard for me. So when I was explain what I am drawing in the paper for my partner. I was stuck. Then I felt very awkward, and it let me feeling more never than the feel before the practice start.

So the bad thing is I have trouble about the description. But our teacher Gemma come to help my partner and I. I am gold we have a good and patient teacher.

The difficult thing is you need to communicate with some you do not know to much. I tend to be a shy person when I need to talk with stranger. And my English not very well. So is a challenge for me to explain a drawing with other people.

I think the primary problem is my English. So I wish I can improve my English use some kind of practice like my teacher Gemma suggest to watch English videos and listen more English radio.

Next time, I will be more brave to talk with other people in English. It is also good chance to practice my English.

The learning of what I get is about the text collage. It’s very fun and interesting. We put the different typeface together. It can make me thinking as a different way. And it can inspired me some idea. The collages can apply for the posters. It should be good for that.

The animation is most relevant to me. The stop motion can give me some idea for my own work. And I love animation.

Yesterday we have a food sharing. Is interesting, There are many kinds of different foods in this activity. One of my friend take a Pancake rolled with crisp fritter. It’s a normal food in TianJin, a city of China.In China it called “jianbing guozi”. It rolled crisp fritter and ham. Sometime may add Romaine Lettuce. It is taste very delicious. But if you want to try the real “jianbing guozi”. You should go to TianJin, and I suggest you to try it.

Another interesting food, or to be more accurate, it is a drink, called Vitamin lemon tea. It’s also sold in some British stores. I don;t know it is popular in UK or not, It is very popular in China.

I have a good time at last two weeks. The courses are interesting and they are different than the courses in China. Most Chinese colleges don’t have many courses need you to use the ink machine or something I can not do in Chinese colleges. In Chinese you just need listen and pass the exam.

Is hard to choice my favorite workshop. All of them are amazing and interesting. If I have to choose one, I think it’s the screen painting. Maybe 3D model will be interesting, but we don’t try the machine for ourself.

  The workshop is interesting.And the most interesting part is the paper sculpture. About this works. It was made by my friend and me at class.I made the paper plane and the little handcraft mode of paper.Those mean free and choice. In the future will have lots of choice we have to do.And we want to let us broaden our mind. So that is the mean if the handcraft of top.The cap at the bottom as well as I made. On the top of the cap, write “Hope I can made it”. This cap means I want to finish my course and get the enrollment notice from ual BA Animation successful. 

  The successful about the workshop is the work part (paper sculpture) and the objective time table. The work can let us know the future goals about the courses. The time table can help me to clear my mind and let me know what should I do at certain times.  

  It is a good course, and it is memorable，because it was my first work in lcc. I hope I can finish the course of this year as the work means.
